Creating a Training

A new training is created from Training Management, using the New Training form. The form has the same five tabs as a saved record and a Save New Training command, and its status bar reflects the path the training will follow, with the review and approval stages shown only when Require Approval is set.

How to Create a Training

  1. In Training Management, on the QMS Trainings tab, select + Add Training.

  1. On the Details tab, select an existing training under QMS Training (or Add QMS Training to create one), and enter the Title, Training Version, and Trainer / Owner.

  1. Choose the Type, Read & Understood or Questionnaire.

  1. Set Require Approval and add any Notes. With approval set, the status bar gains the review and approval stages.

  1. Add the document versions and training materials, and for a questionnaire training add the questions and set the Pass threshold, using the procedures under Viewing and Editing a Training.

  2. Select Save New Training. The training is created with status Draft and appears in the QMS Trainings list.
