Internal Fields

Internal fields are the configurable metadata fields shown in the Internal Fields sections of master documents and document versions. They are managed under Settings → Internal Fields.

The All Internal Fields list shows each field's Name and its Field Type: Dropdown, Yes/No, or Text. For example, Document review stage and QMS review stage are dropdowns, Draft formatted and Owner confirmed are yes/no fields, and Regulatory reference is a text field. New fields are added with New.
