Internal Fields

Internal fields are the configurable metadata fields your organisation captures alongside the standard ones; a way to record the extra details you need (a regulatory reference, a review-stage flag) without custom development.
They are defined here, under Settings → Internal Fields, and appear in the Internal Fields sections of master documents and document versions.
The All Internal Fields list shows each field's Name and its Field Type: Dropdown, Yes/No, or Text. For example, Document review stage and QMS review stage are dropdowns, Draft formatted and Owner confirmed are yes/no fields, and Regulatory reference is a text field.
New fields are added with + New.
